An activist at heart, our Government Relations Specialist harnesses her longtime passion for policy to power public affairs operations.
During her time as a Chief of Staff on Beacon Hill, Cinda Danh not only ran the office, she also got a close look at how to effectively impact policy through advocacy. As someone whose first trip to Beacon Hill was to participate in a protest, she decided that she could, instead, channel this passion for creating change into a greater understanding of the legislative process and proceeded to work her way up from an intern in the Asian-American Women’s Political Initiative program to Chief of Staff in just five short years.
A native of Lynn, and a recent graduate of UMass Boston with a major in Human Services, she combined her interest in policy with her interest in social services working for Chairman James O’Day, a leader on these issues. She wrote testimony and budget amendments, tracked legislation, and organized hearings and briefings for the Chairman and advocates that they worked closely with.
Now, as a member of the Preti Strategies team, Cinda is putting her experience to work assisting with public affairs initiatives. Alongside our government relations team, she handles compliance, bill tracking, logistics, materials development, web strategy and social media projects, seizing on every opportunity to assist our clients in achieving their desired policy outcomes.
